Media Relations – How He Started

Mr. Fragos cut his teeth with the media in a highly creative manner.  During his senior year in high school, he enrolled as a non degree seeking student at the University of South Florida upon discovering a little know fact that High School students could IN FACT receive High School Credits for College classes.

While many students take advantage of well known programs that enable college credits to be awarded to high school students, Mr. Fragos discovered it works in reverse!  He was awarded a full year college internship position with WFLA TV, the NBC affiliate station in Tampa, FL during his senior year of high school and thus reported every day to the news department as a, “duel enrolled” college and high school student making him the youngest full time intern to ever work in the station’s news department.
